What To Expect When You Visit Us

First of all, you will find our group to be very welcoming and friendly. With a mix of people of all ages, you will likely find folks just like you. Our purpose of being together in our assembly is to glorify God and build one another up spiritually. Our times of worship and Bible study will be focused on spiritual things using only the Bible as our guide.

During our worship times, you will find us engaging in the following:

Singing

You will notice that our worship in song is without instrumental accompaniment. We believe that congregational singing conforms to the example and teaching of the New Testament. (Ephesians 5:19)

Prayer

Several times during our service we will take time to communicate with our heavenly Father through prayer.

Lord’s Supper or Communion

We celebrate the Lord’s Supper every Sunday. Jesus established the practice of sharing the bread and the fruit of the vine so His disciples (Christians) might remember the sacrifice of His body and blood on the first day of every week. (1 Corinthians 11:23-29)

Giving

This is the means by which our members make their weekly contribution in support of the work of this local congregation. As our guest, you are welcome to contribute but it is not expected. (1 Corinthians 16:1-2)

Teaching

A lesson from God’s word will be shared with the congregation. The goal of the lessons is to teach, encourage and edify our members.
