The Rolling Hills church of Christ is a group of individuals committed to serving our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ together in the Spring Hill, TN area. We are focused on worshipping our Heavenly Father according to the pattern found in the New Testament and to spread the good news of Jesus to our friends and neighbors in Spring Hill, middle TN, and around the world.
We use the Bible as our guide and its principles govern our worship and congregational activities. We are committed to helping our families grow in the knowledge of the Bible and how to live our lives more pleasing to Him so that we can all be together one day in heaven.
On January 4, 2009, approximately 7 families living in the Spring Hill area began worshipping together in the office of one of our members. After about 10 months, we secured a rental space that allowed us room to grow and have some classrooms. The Lord blessed us with consistent growth. Preaching duties were rotated among the men of the congregation which allowed many of the men to develop their talents.
In the fall of 2010, elders were appointed for the first time. David Thomley, Woody McGee and Tom Stephenson were appointed elders. David Thomley was also designated as our evangelist.
In December of 2011, the congregation was able to purchase a building in Spring Hill. After a remodel, the congregation met in our new location for the first time on April 1, 2012. Attendance at our worship services currently is between 140 -160. We have classes for all ages and use a defined curriculum that takes every student through the entire Bible three times before middle school.
In August of 2016, we began an addition to our building to accommodate additional classrooms as well as increase the capacity of our auditorium. We are continuing to grow with many new members being added.
In August of 2017, Timothy Ruffin, from Hixson, TN., joined us as a second evangelist. Tim will be working along side David Thomley as we work at spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ in our community and around the world.
